My name is Jon Thornbrugh and I am the manager of the Central Chesterfield Royals Baseball Club (CC Royals). Our team is made up of twelve boys from Chesterfield County, aged 12 years or younger. We compete in various USSSA baseball tournaments around the Commonwealth and practice together year round. If you are reading this, then someone has sent you this link and is asking you to consider becoming a sponsor of our team.
Our reason for approaching sponsors is a team goal. We wish to go to Cooperstown, New York this year and participate in a National Tournament. The entry fee is $850.00 per player and coach. Having 12 players and 4 coaches, this equates to a substantial sum. The tournament lasts for 5 days and is also highlighted by trips to the Baseball Hall of Fame, skills competitions and staying with the other teams in a dormitory type setting. Every parent I have spoken with that has attended Cooperstown raves about what a wonderful experience it is for the kids and the parents.
If our baseball family is able to go this summer, we will represent the Chesterfield County community with class and competitive spirit. As a sponsor, you will be helping send some of the best representatives that our community has to offer to a national stage. With the help of our sponsors, we promise to make everyone back home and around the country proud. Any way you can help is appreciated.
Thank you so much for considering a sponsorship for a CC Royals athlete. We are a non-profit organization, so any donations are tax deductible. If you cannot help, we understand, but sincerely appreciate your time and consideration.
GO ROYALS!
Thank you for your support,
